    Very good

The location. It was in walking distance of everything, but it was a few blocks off of Canal St and Bourbon St so we didn't have to deal with the noise and craziness at night.

    Superb

Location / Cozy atmosphere / Prompt service

-The combo of white lights and fans in the lobby (in some spots) was unconfortable for the eye (similar to a disco enviroment) - The gift shop is too humble (no water - no souvenirs/gift ideas) - Your ATM has a higher service charge than other hotels.

This was the perfect place for Mardi Gras. We literally walked out the front door and watched the parades go by. We were given wristbands to get back into the hotel after leaving to use the restroom. I can't tell you how important it was to have a bathroom nearby. They also had really awesome Bloody Mary's and Hurricanes outside the front door to buy. The Vallet parking was around $29/day. It was about a 5 minute walk to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The room service was from a restaurant called Lüke and amazing. I do recommend going downstairs to the restaurant for coffee since you can get it in a french press there, which was also amazing. This will be the place I stay each time I visit New Orleans.

I was satisfied with this hotel. It was in a great location that was within walking distance to The French Quarter. I was just surprised there was no frig in the room!!

The view and there was no refridgerator in this $100+ room. Wow!!

I truly enjoyed myself and could not have picked a better place to stay. The staff was more than friendly and even suggested things to do and see while in town.

    Fabulous

Room very light and spacious, 2 excellent Queensize beds and, again, spacious bathroom with great shower.

The Booked.net confirmation form stated that "All payments is to be made during your stay at the hotel". To my dismay the hotel charged my creditcard weeks in advance for the total amount (incl. taxes). At my complaint, an employee from Booked.net was assured by the Operation Manager that this was a sad mistake and that I would be reïmbursed right away. Although, when I checked in 3 weeks later, no reïmbursement of whatsoever had been executed. Despite asking for the Operation Manager to sort this out, she never turned up. At the expence of my breakfast I left things as they were, heading for the airport. Very, very unprofessional! A real shame since the hotel itself was an absolute delight to stay at.

Just a 5 minute walk to Canal Street and Bourbon Street. They are close by but you don't get the noise at night from the crowds.

The presence of Conrad Hilton's book "Be my guest" in my room. Very inspiring!

Hotel services was very lackinging on simple things. They failed to service our room even though we were out for four hours and their excuse was that it could have been because we had the do not disturb sign on the door that morning. I find that unacceptable. You do not go back and check the rooms that hadn't been service that morning.

I loved the location and the cleanliness. Also, the restaurant downstairs, Lüke, was great!

    Superb

The hotel is in a great location, definitely within walking distance of virtually everything we wanted to experience in New Orleans. The staff are friendly and professional, and the hotel is clean and quiet, which was perfect since we were looking for somewhere away from the perpetual hustle and bustle on and around Bourbon Street.

We were a bit put off by a pricing mishap that occurred before our stay. We booked 4 nights at the Hilton St. Charles through Booked.net for $89/night and received confirmation of our purchase. A few weeks later, the Hilton sent a confirmation email with a link to our reservation. We clicked on the link, and found that we were being charged $105/night. When we called the Hilton, the front desk staff said that the manager would not be in until the next day. However, when we asked a Booked.net agent to clear up the matter, our nightly rate was changed accordingly very quickly, but with no explanation of the error or apology from the hotel. Had we not noticed this error in advance, it seems likely that we would be paying the higher rate, completely unaware.

The location was perfect for our purposes. We were a cab ride from our dinner location and within walking distance of the French Quarter. We stayed here overnight prior to our cruise departure. The cab ride to the cruise ship was $28 for 4 people. The hotel is beautiful and we were pleased with the service and the price.
