I loved the location, real close to everything, making it the perfect base for enjoying the vibrant culture and history of the city while easily strolling to nearby parks like Louis Armstrong Park, just about 2 km away, and immersing myself in the lively atmosphere on Bourbon Street, only about 1.5 km from the hotel.

The historic charm of the property is undeniable, with spacious rooms and incredibly comfy beds. However, the outdated carpet was a letdown. Overall, service was good, but there were hiccups like the lack of shampoo, making for a frustrating experience during an important visit.
